Welcome to the Internet site of the Tasmanian Branch of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
The Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) is the premier professional society for practising chemists in Australia. The website is designed to provide useful information to both RACI members and Schools about events within the state of Tasmania. In particular, the website lists recent and current activities of the Branch and a link to the national organisation of the RACI. Links from this website have been included to allow access to sites of general interest in chemistry, and also to sites of specific interest to Tasmania. Please feel free to browse our site, along with the National site. |
| The Branch will be holding its regular events during 2011. We are planning to bring you a seminar series with diverse and interesting topics ranging from pulp mill chemistry and Government assistance to help innovative companies, to more traditional topics. We will be trying to organise more seminars off the main University campus and they will also include some time for attendees to interact over nibbles.
